We are a self-help group of people who wish to keep using their knowledge of French.
We take it in turns to provide stimulus materials each month and these are read, listened to, translated and discussed at the meeting.
We usually meet at a member’s house in Keinton Mandeville but all members need to be willing to host the group when we are unable to meet there.
This is a self help group for those who enjoy speaking French. We do not have a teacher.
We meet in each others houses and take turns to provide the stimulus material and refreshments. We read aloud, translate and discuss the topic between ourselves, eg August 24 we discussed two topics: the wisdom of swimming in the Seine and the benefits/drawbacks of providing free local bus transport for all.
Currently we have five people on the waiting list but do not hesitate to contact me if you would be interested in joining.
